Quality Assurance
PSY Metal & Alloy (P) Ltd. ensures that each and every product meets and exceeds client expectations.
We are an ISO 9001 certified company with a robust quality management system. Every input – scrap, ferro alloys, refractories, and foundry materials – is procured from authorized and reliable sources. Each material is tested, approved, and stored with precision to ensure consistency and reliability in every casting.
Our methodizing process is guided by solidification analysis and cavity checks. From moulding and core setting to final box closing, each operation is carried out under the close supervision of our skilled engineers and technicians.
Every ingot, tested first
Testing Capabilities
PSY Metal & Alloy houses advanced mechanical testing and non-destructive testing equipment – ultrasonic, spectro, rockwell and impact testing – ensuring each alloy and metal product meets international standards.
Spectrometers
Spectro Analytical Instruments used to verify precise chemical composition of every batch.
Vacuum Testing
Detects gas porosity and internal casting defects before dispatch.
K-Mold Testing
Predicts solidification behaviour and structural soundness ahead of full production.
Density Testing
Confirms melt integrity and consistency batch to batch.

Spector Max
Precision-driven metal analysis for consistent alloy quality.
The Spector Max is an advanced metal analyser used to identify and measure the chemical composition of metallic samples with speed and accuracy. At PSY Metal & Alloy, this equipment supports our quality-control process by providing reliable elemental analysis and verifying the required aluminium and zinc alloy grade before production approval.
The analyser helps our technical team verify aluminium, zinc and other non-ferrous alloy compositions against required grade specifications. This allows us to detect composition variations early, make controlled corrections during processing and maintain consistent material quality across production batches.
Reliable composition data for confident material approval.
Where Every Test Happens
Every melt is tested in our controlled laboratory using the Spectromax metal analyser. The chemical composition is accurately measured to confirm that each aluminium and zinc alloy meets the required grade specification before casting and dispatch.
The laboratory environment is continuously monitored to support consistent and reliable testing conditions.
